Who We Are

Our Roots

With the need for high-quality training among college students, lecturers, and researchers of economics, finance, and business administration, and the market demand for staff capacity in Big Data, Data Science, Data Analysis, the Center for Advanced Studies in Economics and Data Science was officially established from the Development and Policies Research Center (DEPOCEN) with the director of Professor Le Van Cuong (from the French National Center for Scientific Research).

The core of our efforts is to bring our team’s fresh ideas and passion to the range of activities we’re involved in. Through all of our endeavors we hope to display the conviction behind our beliefs.

Mandates

• Train to improve capacity and help students, lecturers, and researchers of economics, finance, and business administration reach international standards

• Build high-quality staff supply for state management agencies, companies, and enterprises in Vietnam

• Enhance the economic research capacity of Vietnamese economists

• Accompany and support college students, lecturers, and researchers in their quest to acquire education at the master, doctoral level, and postgraduate qualifications in developed countries

• Strengthen the relations between economists who stay in Vietnam and Vietnamese economists living abroad.

• Strive to become an economic research center/institute with an international reputation, where Vietnamese economists aggregate.
